Emoji-obsessed texters: These texters simply ❤️ emojis and use them to express how they're feeling.

They regularly write in shorthand and can come off as disinterested to paragraph texters.

Dry texters: Vogue reported on this text messaging style earlier this year and noted that 'dry texting' refers to people who tend to reply to messages with one or a few words.

Paragraph texting is a useful vehicle for getting all your thoughts out, but can be annoying for people who prefer to receive short messages.

Paragraph texters: This one's a phenomenon that the Huffington Post recently described and includes people who tend to send lengthy blocks of text in their messages.

At the same time I realize that there are some things I can't convey over text, and that conversation moves much more fluidly when we are together. I tend to make more since via text because it forces me to pin down my ideas instead of just rambling on and on and on. Then I might pretend I didn't see it and you won't get an answer until I guilt trip myself into dealing with you. The exception to this rule is if what you're saying stresses me out. Just wondering whether there is any correlation between type and this activity, especially in relationships I've noticed a couple of people of the same type (ISTP) abhor texting. Would be interesting to observe your answers. I'm not much of a texting person though, I prefer seeing the person face to face or an actual phone call from the person.

If I'm not working and not doing anything and a close friend of mine texted me I'll text back, if he/she texted something upsetting or worry some - I'll reply or call. I like it better when people talk to me because they want to.Ĥ) With texts ? I guess if I see the text I'll reply ?
